Usage of data or service
The SpamBusted.com service is a free service, and you may not use our service or it's data for a paid service.
Our service may be used to check new user signup requests and submissions on your site but may NOT be used to check every visitor to your site(s). If it's found that you are using the service for any other purpose than checking new signups or posts, we will disable your account (if you have one), and block your domain(s) and ip(s).
You may use your API Key for YOUR website(s) only. Please do not give out your key to others or use your API Key in code for clients, friends or as part of a community addon for a script. Again, doing so will be cause for service termination.
If found that your site(s) are causing server issues (which shouldn't be an issue unless you have massive signup requests akin to a DOS attack), we may disable your access to our service.
How we use your info
When you signup for an API Key, NONE of the information you submit is given out or used in any way other than to track user submissions.
All spam submissions are offered freely to other site owners to use in their fight against spammers in the hopes that as a community, we can make spammers obsolete (or at least make their business a lot more difficult).
Reports of spammers are checked for reliablility and deavtivated from being checked by sites after a certain time period of no activity. If reported again after deactivation, the report(s) will be reactivated and used in blocking that reported spammer from sites.
We will not disclose to anyone who sent in a spam submission. People that signup for an API Key and submit spammers will always have complete anonymity.
Our site creates CSV files hourly of all the active IP's reported, and a daily list. These lists are freely shared to help others block reported spammers.

The code samples shown on our site are just code samples, and we are not responsible for your use of them, or how you use them.
If you have a better code sample, please contact use, and we may include it on our site for other's use!
Spam Submissions
We are not responsible for the spammer submissions sent to us by others. They are simply reports from others on the Internet that they have determined in their own way and by their own rules to be a spammer.
We will NOT however tolerate anyone using our service as a tool to slander innocent sites or persons. Anyone doing so will be immediately banned from our service.
If you are listed as a spammer on this site, and feel this is a mistake, please feel free to contact us and we will check you out. At most, removing any incorrect spam submissions will take no longer than 24 hours (but ususally much quicker).
